Hi there, I'm Melissa! Thank you for visiting my page! :)

I'm a former Special Education Teacher and mom of 2, providing small learning groups for ages 0-4 from my home! Each class offers endless opportunities to practice fine motor, cognitive, language, and social skills through circle time, sensory learning activities, art, open-play, and more! As an educational consultant and owner of Learning through Life with Mrs. S - LLC, I also provide academic, behavioral, adaptive, and social support services to families who may be seeking coaching, consultation, or resources for their homes. Teaching in a self-contained Autism classroom for 7 years and having a sister with significant learning & communication needs, I could very clearly see the gap between school and home. One goal of my business is to bridge that gap (that many families face) between the home and school environment, in order to set families up for success long term.
